2205 duplex stainless steel

Chemical composition: 22% chromium, 5% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and 0.18% nitrogen. Mechanical properties: Tensile Strength:620MPa,Yield Strength: 450MPa, Elongation:25%.

Corrosion resistance: It has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for various corrosive media, including acid, alkali, salt, etc. The resistance to chloride stress corrosion is superior to general austenitic stainless steel.

    2507 duplex stainless steel


    Chemical composition: 25% chromium,  7% Nickel, 4% molybdenum, and 0.5% Copper. Mechanical properties: Tensile strength: 800MPa, YS: 550MPa, EL: 25%.
    Corrosion resistance: It has higher corrosion resistance, especially in chlorine containing media where corrosion resistance is more prominent. The resistance to chloride stress corrosion is about twice that of 2205 duplex steel, making it suitable for more stringent usage conditions.

    Applications


    2205 duplex stainless steel:suitable for offshore oil platforms, chemical industry, papermaking and other fields, especially suitable for use in the temperature range of -50 ° F/+600 ° F.
    2507 duplex stainless steel: Used in the petroleum and natural gas industry, offshore oil platforms, petrochemical equipment, desalination equipment, etc., it requires mechanical and structural components with high strength and high corrosion resistance.
