TP304-Austenitic stainless steel Industrial welded pipes

TP304 is an austenitic stainless steel belonging to 300 series stainless steel and is widely used in industrial fields, especially in applications requiring corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. TP 304 stainless steel contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which gives it good corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. The welded pipe of TP 304 stainless steel is widely used in industry to transport fluid, gas and steam, as well as as structural materials in chemical, petroleum, food processing, pharmaceutical and nuclear energy industries.

TP304-Austenitic stainless steel Industrial welded pipes

Corrosion resistance: TP 304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, especially in oxidizing environments, such as air, water, and most acidic solutions.
High temperature resistance: It can be used at temperatures up to 1000°C, with good high temperature strength and oxidation resistance.
Welding performance: TP 304 stainless steel is easy to weld, no heat treatment after welding.
Mechanical properties: with good toughness and plasticity, easy to process and molding.
Hygiene: In food processing and medical equipment, TP 304 stainless steel is widely used because of its good sanitary performance.
TP 304 Stainless steel industrial welded pipe production:

    Raw material selection

Use 304 stainless steel sheet or strip meeting ASTM A312 / A312M or EN 10216-5 standard.

    Molding

Process sheet or strip into pipe shape by cold rolling or cold drawing process.

    Welding

Using TIG (tungsten pole argon arc welding) or MIG (metal inert gas protective welding). The welding parameters need to be strictly controlled during the welding process to ensure the weld quality.

    Heat treatment

After welding, heat treatment is usually not required because the 304 stainless steel has good welding performance.

    Inspection and inspection

Conduct nondestructive testing of the welded pipe, such as ultrasonic detection, radiographic detection, etc., to ensure that the weld is without defects. Mechanical properties testing and corrosion resistance tests are performed simultaneously.

    Surface treatment

According to the need, the welded pipe surface treatment, such as pickling, passivation, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance.

    Packaging and delivery

Packaging qualified welded pipes to ensure no damage during transportation.
TP 304 stainless steel welded pipes are very popular in industrial applications because of their excellent comprehensive performance. When selecting and using these materials, ensure that the appropriate standards and specifications are followed to ensure the performance and safety of the materials. At the same time, because 304 stainless steel has good processing performance and welding properties, it is very flexible in industrial manufacturing, can meet a variety of application needs.
